-Recognized for efforts to institutionalize and spread the culture of human rights

KOEM announced on the 26th that it received ‘certification of human rights management system’ from Korea Management Certification Institute.

Accreditation of the Human Rights Management System is the first system introduced by the Korea Management Certification Institute this year, which sets policies and goals to systematically manage human rights management of an organization and certifies them to public institutions and companies through a screening process.

KOEM obtained the certificate in recognition of its efforts to establish a human rights management system and spread the culture of human rights respect, which took into account the prevention and relief of human rights violations by stakeholders as well as internal and external members.

In particular, it was highly evaluated that the government is implementing the principle of management centered on human rights management as a top priority by expanding the organization dedicated to the institutionalization of human rights management, checking continuous human rights violation factors using the human rights impact assessment, such as readjustment of related regulations, internal review, and management review.

Park Seung-gee, CEO KOEM said, "We will do our best to create a more systematic human rights management system to create a fair organizational culture without discrimination."
